The morning of Kayla's photos was quite a disappointment...gloomy, dark, RAINY!!! I know what your thinking....GROOOOSSSS! We really wanted to get her photos done that day and the rain had died down to a mist at most times...so we decided...why the hell not! I grabbed a clear umbrella and we forged the weather. We were lucky enough to find some spots to cover her also so we could have some without the umbrella! We got some awesome fun shots and had a good time doing them. Mother Nature take that!!! ha ha

It is always a great day when I get to photograph these two! Jackson is definitely a little spitfire! He let us know when he was done and it was quite clear! lol We got some great images and I couldn't be happier! Isn't he just the cutest thing?!
Now if every session could be like this one I would be the happiest photographer in the whole wide world!!! These two girls had me worried that I had my work cut out for me. Our last meeting, Tristan was AMAZING and Ella was a little girl in a very bad mood! BUT I had absolutely nothing to worry about...they were both ANGELS!

This little miss was definitely a handful! She never stops moving! I am pretty sure all of the shots that I did get were "CLICK> she's gone". Even with her constant going and going we managed to get some pretty darling shots! Her smile is just infectious. Our next session should be pretty interesting...she has a baby sister on the way(ANY TIME NOW)...so Emery + 1 is definitely going to make me work for my $$.

Sami and I had a great time shooting at Wild Cat Den in Muscatine. My original goal was to shoot in the caves, but due to not being able to find them we stuck with this area! I AM SO HAPPY WE DID!!!! Even after some almost falls, stubbed toes, pointy rock, tiny little frogs and a mysterious animal skeleton in the water( IT HAD PINCHER CLAWS!!!!) I think we got some AWESOME shots!!!

These cute little misters are Kane and Karson! Mr. Kane and I don't have the best track record with get a smile but this time was AMAZINGLY better! He was such a trooper and gave me some great smiles! Karson is such a cute little ham! He definately loves having his photo taken! I love photographing these little boys and always look forward to seeing them again! One thing I love about photographing children is seeing how much they change from session to session. It is such a fun time!

Mallory and I had a great time! I could tell she definately thought I was crazy with some of the positions I was putting her in but my motto is "if you feel awkward then I am doing something right!" She was a good sport and went along with it all. I LOVE how these shots turned out!

I just love this photo! I knew I wanted to do something to showcase her eyes so I grabbed this piece of fabric and said what they hell if it looks stupid we are the only 2 who knew I tried it! Well thankfully it turned out awesome(or so I think) and I am happy I grabbed that fabric as I was walking out the door!

These two little girls did a great job! Little Miss Evelyn was a chatterbox and did an awesome job of smiling! As for Hadley this poor little girl did a face plant off a childrens chair into the grass and wasn't the happiest camper after that but Mom and Dad were able to get me some great smiles!

I had the great opportunity to photography Emily. She was a year behind me in high school and I always love photographing new people! She had them done for her business website which is why we have the guitar in some of them. She owns a music therapy business. Check it out... This handsome fella was such a little trooper tonight! I had the pleasure of meeting Cash and his Momma through my dear friend Cassie. They all drove 2.5 hours to see me tonight and give me the hornor of photographing him!!!! How awesome is that! I couldn't have asked for a better result in these adorable images!!! We were so lucky that the rain took a very short break and gave us some beautiful lighting to work with! Thank you Mother Nature you have been very accomodating since Thursday! It has rained and rained but when it has come time for my session it has stopped just enough for me to get some great images taken! I hope you all enjoy these as much as I do!!!
